Sunnyside Cottage is nestled between two lakes, on a quiet tree-lined street with peak-a-boo views of both Lake Cadillac and Lake Mitchell. The cottage itself is a classic brick home with simple lines that reminds one of a Hansel and Gretel-style dwelling. Although it appears small from the outside, there is a grand use of space inside. Welcome to our home! Our family is excited to share this recently renovated beautiful lakefront home with you. This is a perfect location for a large family, group or couples wanting to get away together. This 1800 sq ft, 4 bedroom, 2 bath home offers an open living room and dining room with a full wall of windows overlooking Lake Mitchell. Two bedrooms have queen beds, our bunk room has 2 bunk beds and there is a double bed in the bedroom next to the screened in porch. This bedroom is away from the others and is very private. If there is a need for additional sleeping accommodations the leather couch in the living room is a queen sleeper sofa. There is also a large foot stool that pulls out into a twin bed. The lake has a beautiful sandy bottom and we have steps down from the seawall that lead to the lake which is shallow for another 50-60 yards. It is a great place for the kids to splash around. We have 4 kayaks for your use which are available at no charge for your enjoyment. The house is on a quiet road with very little traffic. Hikers, bikers and walkers can enjoy over 300 miles of multi terrain trails, over 500,000 acres of state and national forest. Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac are connected by the Clam Lake Canal and there are many parks in the area. The golfer in the family can enjoy a choice of 7 golf courses. We are 15 minutes from downtown where there are many quaint places to shop and stroll.

In the autumn, enjoy the gorgeous fall colors as Cadillac puts on its most colorful show! It has a furnished deck and patio with a gas grille for cooking, and a fire pit to create lots of family memories. If you have toys to bring, you will have use of a dock. For your enjoyment you will have access to a 3 adult 2 kids peddle boat, and 2 adult bikes to ride. You're within 10 minutes away from Downtown Cadillac, Putt Putt Golf as well as a Golf Course and Ice Cream Shops. Traverse City (National Cherry Festival) and Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes are within 1 hour.

Snow Removal: Our grounds-keeper provides snow removal that clears the driveway, parking area and walkway to the cabin entry. Snow removal is triggered after any event causing 4" or more of accumulation since last removal. There may be occasions where there are a few inches of snow on the driveway and walkway and can get icy. A snow shovel and salt are available in the open garage. Please be careful. Occupancy: Due to fire codes and cabin size, occupancy limits are strictly enforced, additional guests are not allowed. Stoneledge Lake is a private lake and is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing setting for your vacation. The cottage has everything for your vacation besides your toys, food and drinks. Everything else is included. There is a dock very close to the deck for fishing etc. There is rowboat as well as a paddleboat for your use. Please supply your own lifejackets and life preservers.
